There are turbulent winds outside again.
Black clouds are again rising.
And the sirens cry slices the heart.
And heavy rain has been descending for a week already.
From above the clouds surely the sun shines.
But she doesn't see the day.
These harsh sights hide the light.
It's a little bit hard for me to be happy today.
And I am like a small child.
Standing and asking: Until when?
Until when, until when, Master of the world?
Master of the world, until when?
Even answers are sometimes questions.
Perhaps [Hashem is] hiding [His] face.
[But] give me a little. Give me a sign that lights up.
[For] my way is dark sometimes.
But, from above the clouds surely the sun shines.
But she doesn't see the day.
These harsh sights hide the light.
It's a little bit hard, a little bit hard for me to be happy today.
And I am like a small child.
Standing and asking: Until when?
Until when, until when, Master of the world?
Master of the world, until when?

English Translation of Track 6- "Hang up the Phone" from the "Leap of Faith" album
English
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
The family gets dizzy
The father seems so busy
My phone is going crazy
My hands are numb and freezy
The gadgets make us lazy
We gotta take it easy
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
I didn't see you in ages
It seems to me contagious
You going through some stages
The phone makes you outrageous
It locks you up in cages
Unlike our sages
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
All the hocus-pocus
Forever tries to choke us
It's making such a ruckus
We can barely focus
Davening and driving
Eating, working, sleeping
Why keep on replying
To all the rings and beeping
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
Uh Uh Uh, can you hang up the phone
Hang up the phone! Hang up the phone!
Yiddish
Oi- What's my father missing
He doesn't have a computer
Today, every little whistle-blower (Every Kid)
In new toys (gadgets) he bathes
There's no more peace
How do we get rid of it
Oy vey- Gevalt, (Yiddish expression similiar to "Oh goodness")
Hang up the phone already
English
I'm going to a wedding
The entire hall is squawking
Everyone is phoning
To the wall I'm talking
My friend is with his bluetooth
We're together we are walking
Hey, hello please, Can you hang up that, That phone!!!
All the hocus-pocus
Forever tries to choke us
It's making such a ruckus
We can barely focus
Davening, Davening and driving,
Eating, working, sleeping

I lift my hands to Himmel (the sky) [Yiddish]
Yiddish
I don't need this for this book
I only use an Aleph-Beis book
Lay, lay, lay, lay,
I have a Kosher telephone
Ipod, iphone, ipad
Aii, why does it come into my house/Shul
I still remember when an "I" [an egg] ("I" means egg in Yiddish) only meant egg with onion
I still remember when Blackberries
Didn't used to grow in Manhattan
And only those who had a headache
Would make use of tablets
Enough already with the phone (mixture of English and Yiddish)
Enough already with the phone (Yiddish)

English Translation of “Dimyonis- Fantasies”- Track 7 of Lipa B’Derech
Here is a part of an interview where Lipa explains a little about this song:
Here is the English translation:
A person who ponders too much:
When I arrive they stop talking
Whenever they can they try to put me down
I don’t know why nobody can tolerate me
Angry at me, I don’t know why
I see how he’s speaking and making facial expressions (and twisting his nose)
Out of the whole group they always exclude me
From outside he’s good- and from inside he’s bitter
A lot of bad he does to me- why?
A beautiful Simcha- Invitations are sent
Only me they didn’t invite- why?
He spends time with everyone- he goes out of his way to help them
But only me he lets hang- why?
He finds liars (against me)- he riles everyone up (against me)
He gets under my skin- why?
Lipa:
Don’t think, don’t imagine
Don’t ponder, don’t whine
Because every minute of speculation
Can drive you crazy
It doesn’t pay to fantasize
A person analyzes- and a story develops
And for someone else it causes tears
Hebrew: No bears and no forest
Yiddish: No forest and no bears
(This is an expression that is used when someone for example creates a fictitious story “There were bears and a forest”. We then tell him “There was no bears and no forest—It’s bologna what you’re saying”)
The house owner takes a walk in his garden
In his hand is a machine, he’s cutting the grass
His neighbor from the window sees this grass cutter
He looks and thinks and a light bulb goes on (in his head)
I’ll borrow it from him, I could surely use it
He’s already baking a story, a fantasy he’s already kneading
My grass is growing, he sees it
His grass cutter I’m asking for
He does nothing- for me
It’s always a hardship for him- to do favors warmly
Now I’m begging to have some compassion
He is always borrowing from me- he doesn’t pay his debt
Such an ingrate (Kofay Toiva)- is he
(He says) not to worry (when it comes to him paying his debts)- I can wait till tomorrow
He will not lend it to me- I’m thinking
He goes over there to find his neighbor
The neighbor opens the door
The friend starts yelling and screaming there
The neighbor looks, am I perhaps dreaming
He just wants to ask him what’s going on
The friend continues screaming and says with firmness:
“Let my grass grow until the sky I still won’t need your grass cutter ok”?!......
The neighbor looks (at him) completely confused
What does he want from me, I just don’t understand
He asks this friend questioningly
You’re hallucinating, you didn’t even ask
You’re not asking me for anything and yet you’re angry
I’ll lend it to you gladly so what is your gripe
The friend responds:
I’m sorry I didn’t mean it
Please don’t be upset
I got angry, I myself don’t know- why
Lipa:
You’re wasting your time- you fantasize for no reason
I will be realistic- why?
Because meaningless fantasies- do not have interpretations
Save your sanity
Fantasies, false ideas
Brings you only pain and embarrassment
When people think (too much into things)- It brings on arguments (machlokes)
And you make enemies- like this
Straighten your mind- don’t fantasize
You will enhance your life- like this
Think with intelligence- without false illusions
It’s all empty illusions
Let go of all your dreams already
And see that it’s all fantasies……

English Translation Of Abimelebt
ABIMELEBT= As Long As You're Alive (Don't Worry About The Petty Annoyances)
I want a coffee but there's no milk
I found just a drop,
I taste it
It tastes sour
I throw away the cup
Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt......................................
A red light
A shining reflector
In the mirror I see a Police,
He tells me to stay still
He writes me a ticket
He puts on a sweet smile
Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt......................................
Afterwards I'm Shvitzing (sweating)
Sitting in traffic
Driving a long way,
The Highway's busy
I'm getting dizzy
Becoming enraged
You run to the line
It's already 3 (o'clock, when the bank closes)
By the door of the bank I wait,
The supervisor screams in anger
"It's late, the bank is closed"
Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt......................................
In Penn Station when with frustration I missed my train tonight
They keep on beeping and I should be sleeping like the lion sleeps tonight
Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt, Abimelebt......................................

English Translation Of “Amen”- Track 12 On A Poshiter Yid
First of all, there appears to be a mistake in the album cover. There, it says that the wording of this song comes from “Mussaf of Yomim Noiramim”. However upon research of this matter (with the help of Rabbi Koigel) it was discovered that the words to the Amen song are quoted in Devarim Raba by Parshas Ki Savoi. The original source is the Medrash Tanchuma, Parshas Tzav, Sif Zain and the Pusek "Baruch Hashem L'Oilum Amen Vamen" comes from 2 P'Sukim in Tehilim, Kapital Ain Beis. So I think that when the album booklet says "Mussaf Yomim Noiramim" it's a mistake and it should say "Medresh Tanchuma".
Now, the meaning of the word “Amen” corresponds to what kind of bracha was said. There are 3 kinds of Brachas:
1) A bracha which is a praise to Hashem (like a bracha over food or one the morning brachos). In this case Amen means: “I believe that Hashem does this or IS this”
2) A bracha that is a Tefila for the future (like Racheim Na in Bentching or Kadish). In this case Amen means: “I hope that this will come true”
3) A bracha which combines 1) and 2) (like the braches of Shemonei Esrei). In this case Amen means: “I believe that Hashem does this, or IS this, AND I hope that this will come true”
Translation of the song:
Whoever answers Amen in this world, will merit to answer Amen in the world to come.
As it is stated: “Blessed is Hashem forever, Amen and Amen” (Tehilim, Kapital Ain Beis)
Amen in this world and Amen in the world to come.
Yehe Shmay Raba……….. May His great Name be blessed forever and ever

English Translation Of GELT- Track 5 Of Lipa B'derech
[Lipa Enters]
A Yid: Tell me, you're coming for money? Lipa: Do i owe you money? Ah, now again money nuu (all everybody talks about is money).
Poor, rich - strong and weak,
It's all about the same thing,
Whoever has enough of it has everyone close to him,
Relatives today - tomorrow enemies,
The day after tomorrow friends again,
If you earn Lira (Italy), Frank (France), Shekel (Israel), Dollar, Pound (Great Britain),
We plow, plant - we borrow, we lend,
We put in, we squeeze and twist (negotiate),
Everybody has the same goal to earn money easily,
We're flying in the way (a hustle and bustle) - weeks and days,
After the money such a going (everyone's going after it),
Another Dollar, Frank, and Pound,
It can even be a Shekel,
Trying to be powerful - his word everyone likes,
Whoever has the hundred has the say,
When it comes to money,
A poor house - puts on a rich face,
Every character for himself he's talented,
When it comes to money,
Instead of worrying - find where to borrow,
When it comes to paying - Where's the money(Kesef M'nalan),
The checks bounce - You run to Gemachs (loan funds),
There is no guarantor/co-signer - he looks for a relative,
From everywhere (he's looking) - who pays until then,
(Oh) How long the year is - I am in trouble,
I disconnect my phone - and knock it down,
Can't pay - Where's the money (gonna come from),
In Shul we collect money,
In the street we talk about money,
I come home - what do they like,
They're begging again for money,
Honor comes with money - wisdom comes with money,
There is a joke - A hater of money (which is one of the requirements to be a Jewish judge so as not to be biased by money),
You can hire today for (enough) money,
The heart is ripped apart (from aggravation) - the partner is pressuring,
From money there becomes such a conflict,
From every cause (a cause, to give money to) he runs away,
Like from a detrimental situation,
The business is booming - he doesn't get tired,
The more he has his head is flying,
Like it says: A increase in property also increases worry (this is stated in Pirkei Avos),
Poor, rich - strong and weak,
It's all about the same thing,
Whoever has enough of it has everyone close to him,
Relatives today - tomorrow enemies,
The day after tomorrow friends again,
If you earn Lira, Frank, Shekel, Dollar, Pounds,
Life goes by fast,
Only worries come from money,
Life costs - as much as you have,
For everything you need more and more money,
What do we have from the money - from Gashmius (physicality) we indulge,
It looks good - you don't take it with you (to the next world),
Nothing is left from money,
You over exert yourself - you over work yourself,
For all kinds (of things) - you don't need necessarily need the green (money),
The younger years - to save money,
He's already old - still he's hiding money,
Bitter - his hand is already shaking,
He is hardly in his right mind - the money will not run away,
It will stay by him (even in such a situation he makes sure to hold onto the money) - He writes checks,
An old nervous (one) - he's stingy to spend,
In Shul we collect money,
In the street we talk about money,
I come home - what do they like,
They're begging again for more money,
Honor comes with money, money, - wisdom comes with money,
It looks good - You don't take it with you (to the next world),
Nothing is left from money,
A little Kosher money - with Mitzvahs in the world,
It looks good - This we do take along,
It stays in the other world,
Everybody likes it,
When you do good with the money,
I'm asking you,
Nu, tell me already,
Where can I get a few dollars?
Huh? Let go already of the money!

English Translation Of Moshe Rabenu- Track 3 Of Mona 4
In the midst of alot of hard work, he decided, Pharaoh the wicked,
We have to sink the Jews, and drown them, in the river,
Because of a prophecy from the stars,
A child must be born,
He will lead us, show us, and redeem us Yiden,
From this suffering
There was a child that was very guarded, he was hidden in a box,
That was smeared with tar and lime,
So that he shouldn't get wet and freeze from the cold
When Pharaoh's Basya (Pharaoh's daughter) wants to go swimming,
Her hands became very long, she didn't have to strain herself,
To draw him in, to light up the world,
And from the small box- it shown forth a light, fear (of heaven), success, (and) Torah,
That was never seen before,
The star gazers kept on saying, this small, fine, nice, pure (one), will light up all of Yisrael
The Egyptians with their weapons, chased after the Yiden, until they found
Moshe Rabenu,
He woke up the Yiden, "You're not allowed to be scared", a snake becomes a stick,
Shows Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
Pharaoh wants to destroy the Yiden, but he still can't get rid of them,
We still have a Father, Who sends
Moshe Rabenu,
Such screams, Pharaoh with the plagues,
Oh Yiden how wonderful it is, through
Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
Our Rebi, our sheperd, you have to come back, the sheep herder,
Where are you already, in any moment he will come (Moshe Rabenu will lead us once again),
You will instill in us Emuna (Total belief in Hashem),
Just like it was by the splitting of the Yam Suf (the sea of reeds),
We saw your figure, we sang song (shira), because He (Hashem) is elevated above the arrogant (Ki Goi Goiu)
This is my God and I will beautify Him (Words from Az Yashir),
Standing in rows, and their screaming(of the Egyptians drowning in the sea),
Just like then, also now- Like new,
The God of my father, and I will exalt Him (Words from Az Yashir- Connected to the words above),
A light, fear, Torah, success,
Just like then by Mount Sinai
We all have the ability to see the sounds (The sounds at Mount Sinai were actually miraculously SEEN),
Yinderlach, how wonderful it is with
Moshe Rabenu,
A righteous preparation, a higher intention,
The Torah the gift,
Through Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
We are constantly waiting,
Unfortunately a thousand years,
Where is the Cheder (Yeshiva) already,
Of Moshe Rabenu,
There's no more excuses, they've been taken away,
Moshe is a faithful servant, Where is Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
Very soon we will live to see,
A light, Torah, no more fear,
From this yoke of exile,
And Moshe will give us a Shiur (Torah Lecture),
Torah, (There will be) success,
Also the Creator will learn the Shiur hour after hour,
No one will be unlearned,
Shining explanations (In Torah), The greatest Chidushim (New insights),
Says Moshe Rabenu,
And all those who toil,
In Gemara (Talmud), Shulchan Aruch (Law),
Will come and be blessed,
Blessed by Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
How beautiful this is,
Our future, all one Chaseedus,
One Rebbe, Our Rebbe,
(Fearin Tish) Leading us with joy,
The Divine Presence at the head of the table,
Everyone with Emuna,
Believing in Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
Moooshhee!!!!!! Moooshhee!!!!!!
Moshe rejoiced in the gift of his portion: that You called him a trusted servant. A crown of brilliance (Moshe's face glowed with a Divine light when he came down from Har Sinai showing that he was worthy to bear Hashem's glory) You placed on his head when he stood before you on Mount Sinai.
We have to sink the Jews, and drown them, in the river,
Because of a prophecy from the stars,
A child must be born,
He will lead us, show us, and redeem us Yiden,
From this suffering
There was a child that was very guarded, he was hidden in a box,
That was smeared with tar and lime,
So that he shouldn't get wet and freeze from the cold
When Pharaoh's Basya (Pharaoh's daughter) wants to go swimming,
Her hands became very long, she didn't have to strain herself,
To draw him in, to light up the world,
And from the small box- it shown forth a light, fear (of heaven), success, (and) Torah,
That was never seen before,
The star gazers kept on saying, this small, fine, nice, pure (one), will light up all of Yisrael
The Egyptians with their weapons, chased after the Yiden, until they found
Moshe Rabenu,
He woke up the Yiden, "You're not allowed to be scared", a snake becomes a stick,
Shows Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
Pharaoh wants to destroy the Yiden, but he still can't get rid of them,
We still have a Father, Who sends
Moshe Rabenu,
Such screams, Pharaoh with the plagues,
Oh Yiden how wonderful it is, through
Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
Our Rebi, our sheperd, you have to come back, the sheep herder,
Where are you already, in any moment he will come (Moshe Rabenu will lead us once again),
You will instill in us Emuna (Total belief in Hashem),
Just like it was by the splitting of the Yam Suf (the sea of reeds),
We saw your figure, we sang song (shira), because He (Hashem) is elevated above the arrogant (Ki Goi Goiu)
This is my God and I will beautify Him (Words from Az Yashir),
Standing in rows, and their screaming(of the Egyptians drowning in the sea),
Just like then, also now- Like new,
The God of my father, and I will exalt Him (Words from Az Yashir- Connected to the words above),
A light, fear, Torah, success,
Just like then by Mount Sinai
We all have the ability to see the sounds (The sounds at Mount Sinai were actually miraculously SEEN),
Yinderlach, how wonderful it is with
Moshe Rabenu,
A righteous preparation, a higher intention,
The Torah the gift,
Through Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
We are constantly waiting,
Unfortunately a thousand years,
Where is the Cheder (Yeshiva) already,
Of Moshe Rabenu,
There's no more excuses, they've been taken away,
Moshe is a faithful servant, Where is Moshe Rabenu
-And they had faith in Hashem and in Moshe, His servant
Very soon we will live to see,
A light, Torah, no more fear,
From this yoke of exile,
And Moshe will give us a Shiur (Torah Lecture),
Torah, (There will be) success,
Also the Creator will learn the Shiur hour after hour,
No one will be unlearned,
Shining explanations (In Torah), The greatest Chidushim (New insights),
Says Moshe Rabenu,

In Gemara (Talmud), Shulchan Aruch (Law),

English Translation Of Oicheelah- Track 8 Of "A Pasheta Yid"
I firmly hope in God and plead before Him. I ask Him to grant me the power of speech.
That I may sing His praise among people, and articulate chants concerning His wondorous actions.
A man may prepare the thoughts in his mind, but the power of speech comes from Hashem.
Hashem, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise.

Hashem, open my lips, that my mouth may declare Your praise.

English Translation Of Arzei Ha'Lvanon- Track 9 Of "Keinehora"- From Kinna # 21 Said On Tisha Bav
[Brackets contain explanations]
Cedar trees of Lebanon [This is how the righteous are described by Dovid Hamelech in Tehilim], Giants of Torah,
Shield carriers [They are called this because they metaphorically do battle with each other while debating the details of Torah law or because they enforce the law] of Mishna and Gemara,
Powerful warriors [This is a very great praise because Dovid Hamelech uses this term to portray the angels] exerting themselves over it [Mishna and Gemara] in purity,
Their blood was spilt and their greatness removed [from us],
Behold, they are the holy Ten Martyrs executed by the Roman government,
And for these I cry.

English Translation Of Al Tis'Hallel- Track 11 On "A Pasheta Yid"
(Parentises indicate implied words) [Brackets indicate explanations or the yiddish word being translated]
[From The Cd Booklet]
There is nothing like the "present", Don't harp over what was; Just keep up your spirits with good deeds!
[Translation Begins Here]:
Oi, when can I save myself,
And bring back years,
That have gone away from me,
Ran away from under my hand.
I wouldn't have sat empty (wasting time),
Only the time to use it up [time would be killed],
Whether cold whether hot [no matter the weather or the situation time was wasted],
If I only had the [Sechel] wisdom of today.
Many times you think with curiosity,
If it would only be a (standard) routine [a common thing],
That a man can [would be able to] turn back the clock,
What then would we have done [with our free time].
Then I jog my memory,
"The clock doesn't wait," I'm warning.
I'm still grabbing the few years,
You shouldn't give it away empty [by wasting years].
Don't praise tomorrow [Don't rely on tomorrow],
A baby, a child, a boy, a teenager,
Because you don't, because you don't, know,
A young man, father and grandfather,
What today will bring.
Someone (who on) Sunday wants Monday,
To drive somewhere Tuesday,
He sees Wednesday coming, It's already Thursday,
From Friday till after Shabbos he stays.
How did I get so delayed,
Afterwards I got aggravated,
I wish I can forget everything,
As fast as the time chases us.
To open a door, another bolt [lock] [things stand in our way and try to prevent us from doing T'Shuva],
To start fresh it's [M'Sugal] the right (thing to do at the right) time,
Because who could look in the mirror,
And say by me everything is right [fine].
We are given a way, not a bad one,
To make a better yesterday,
Start fresh to fix it [do T'Shuva].
It's nicer the days and the nights [after someone does T'Shuva his days will be much better].
Do not praise tomorrow,
Do not praise tomorrow,
A small child, a girl, a [Kalah] bride,
A young lady, mother and grandmother[in the song, Lipa actually says the opposite order: grandmother and then mother].
What today will bring.
Do not praise tomorrow, Do not praise tomorrow, because you don't, because you don't know, because you don't, because you don't know, what today will bring.
A 5-year-old begins Scripture,
A 10-year-old begins Mishna,
A 13-year-old becomes obligated to observe the commandments,
A 15-year-old begins to study Gemara,
An 18-year-old goes to the marriage canopy,
A 20-year-old begins pursuit [of a livelihood],
A 30-year-old attains full strength,
A 40-year-old attains understanding,
A 50-year-old can offer counsel,
A 60-year-old attains seniority,
A 70-year-old attains a ripe old age,
An 80-year-old shows strength,
And longevity of days.
Together we should go out to greet Moshiach the righteous one, quickly in our days.
Don't say when I come back I'll learn..........................

English Translation Of Gam Zu L'Tovah- Track 1 Of "L'Tovah"
Nachum ish Gam Zu came from Gimzo, a town not far from Lod. He was called "Nachum ish Gam Zu" [which literally means: Nachum, man of Gam Zu] because he always said "Gam Zu L'Tovah". The lyrics in the song come from a Gemara in Sanhedrin [Daf Kuf Ches Amud Beis- 108b]. That Gemara relates the following story: One day, the Jews needed to win the Caesar's favor through a gift they would give him. They sent Nachum ish Gam Zu to present the gift. On the way, Nachum stopped at an inn. The inhabitants of the town asked him what he had in his big chest. He said that it was a gift for the Caesar. In the middle of the night these inhabitants emptied the chest of the jewels contained within and refilled it with dirt. When Nachum presented the chest to the Caesar it was opened and found to contain this dirt. Nachum was taken away to be killed for this insult to the Caesar. As they led Nachum away he said "Gam Zu L'Tovah".
Eliyahu Hanavi came down to earth disguised as a Roman official. He suggested that maybe this dirt was miraculous. Perhaps it was the same dirt that the Jews' ancestor, Avraham, had used against his enemies. That dirt was said to have turned into swords when thrown at the enemy. The Romans decided to give this theory a try. There had been a certain district that was giving the Romans problems. Try as they may, the Romans could not defeat this district. They threw this dirt at them and sure enough it turned into swords and the Romans were victorious. When the Caesar heard this he let Nachum ish Gam Zu go and sent him back home with his chest filled with jewels. On Nachum's journey back, he stopped at the same inn. The inhabitants asked him what he had given the Caesar to deserve the jewels now in his chest. He said that he gave the Caesar whatever was in the chest. After hearing this the inhabitants went with chests filled with dirt to give to the Caesar. This dirt was found to contain no miraculous qualities and these inhabitants were therefore killed for this insult to the Caesar.
Look how everything turned out ok. Look at the power of "Gam Zu L'Tovah".
And with that I present to you the translation of the song:

YIDDISH Translation Of Carry On- Track 13 on "A Pasheta Yid"
I've been getting alot of complaints from the Yiddish speaking Oilam that they used to understand all of what Lipa was singing, but now with "Carry On" they are lost. They tell me it's not fair that I translate all the Yiddish songs to help the English speaking people and forget about them when it comes to "Carry On" (I'm jost joking by the way. I really did not receive any complaints). Therefore, here is "Carry On" translated into Yiddish. Now, even the Yiddish speakers can gain the inspiration and Mussar from this amazing song.

English Translation Of Yener- Track 4 on "A Pasheta Yid"
(Parentises indicate implied words) [Brackets indicate explanations or the yiddish word being translated]
At home and by Simchas [happy occasions],
And anywhere you can,
You copy others,
Eventhough it makes no sense,
To live for yourself,
Who wants today to take a chance,
How do I do this, when everyone does something else.
Heh, neighbors and friends, (are) surely familiar,
Oh for all of them, to please them you must,
Nation of Yiden, nice Yiden, with the [this] problem,
Involved in [Moisdois] organizations, unfortunately everybody suffers from it.
What is nicer? Oh what do others say?
You, stop it, start living for yourself,
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF": 'Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?'
What is nicer? Oh what do others say?
You, stop it, start living for yourself,
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF": 'Who am I? Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?'
What should I buy? Which style?
So that everyone should give me a smile,
This hat, glasses, shoes,
They say that it's sweet,
It's hard on the ears [the hat],
It's heavy on the head [the glasses],
It's squeezing the feet [the shoes].
Who is this other, I'm looking for him so long,
That everybody runs after his footsteps.
From where is this system coming from? It goes without a boundary,
Conducting your life, exactly how the others want.
Who are the others? By ladies, men, who establishes everything, that's going on by me?
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF", What can I [be or do]? What do I do? What do I want?
Where is the other, what can he accomplish, that everybody should live for themselves? [Why look at the other? Shouldn't everyone live for themselves?]
And everyone should understand, for "THEMSELVES", Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?
We do all this only for others, (to) run after the styles,
And therefore I wrote this in song [melodiously], to teach myself I allow this [I wanna learn from this song], to sing that's why I do it [I'm singing this to teach a lesson].
Yes? [Really? (people asking if Lipa is serious)]
Yes. [Lipa's response]
Now I'm finishing this conversation, start a new kingdom,
Make a new start, a life of tranquility, ask ask your Father [do what Hashem wants], don't think anymore what other people say.
Others opinions let go, live for "YOURSELF", Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF", Who am I? Who am I? Who am I? Who are you?
But what's nicer? But what do other's say?
Stop already, start living for "YOURSELF",
Live for yourself already, for "YOURSELF", Who are you? Who am I? Who are you?
Yes, it's nicer, when also [Yener] others [live for themselves], start finally living for yourself,
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF", Who am I? Who am I? Who am I? Who are you?
At home and by Simchas [happy occasions],
And anywhere you can,
You copy others,
Eventhough it makes no sense,
To live for yourself,
Who wants today to take a chance,
How do I do this, when everyone does something else.
Heh, neighbors and friends, (are) surely familiar,
Oh for all of them, to please them you must,
Nation of Yiden, nice Yiden, with the [this] problem,
Involved in [Moisdois] organizations, unfortunately everybody suffers from it.
What is nicer? Oh what do others say?
You, stop it, start living for yourself,
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF": 'Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?'
What is nicer? Oh what do others say?
You, stop it, start living for yourself,
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF": 'Who am I? Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?'
What should I buy? Which style?
So that everyone should give me a smile,
This hat, glasses, shoes,
They say that it's sweet,
It's hard on the ears [the hat],
It's heavy on the head [the glasses],
It's squeezing the feet [the shoes].
Who is this other, I'm looking for him so long,
That everybody runs after his footsteps.
From where is this system coming from? It goes without a boundary,
Conducting your life, exactly how the others want.
Who are the others? By ladies, men, who establishes everything, that's going on by me?
Others opinions let go, ask "YOURSELF", What can I [be or do]? What do I do? What do I want?
Where is the other, what can he accomplish, that everybody should live for themselves? [Why look at the other? Shouldn't everyone live for themselves?]
And everyone should understand, for "THEMSELVES", Who am I? Who am I? Who am I?
We do all this only for others, (to) run after the styles,
And therefore I wrote this in song [melodiously], to teach myself I allow this [I wanna learn from this song], to sing that's why I do it [I'm singing this to teach a lesson].
